UFI (The Global
Association of the Exhibition Industry)
The International status of HOFEX was officially recognised by UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) for its professionalism. UFI is the world association of trade fairs and exhibitions and the only worldwide organisation in its field. HKES is one of the few exhibition organisers in Hong Kong elected as a member of the UFI. Membership is only awarded to fairs which have a proven record of international exhibitors and visitor facilities which conform to the highest standards as laid down in the UFI rules.

HKECIA (Hong Kong Exhibition
& Convention Industry Association)
HKECIA was founded in May 1990 to act as an advisory body to its members and by working closely with all relevant organisations, promote the well-being and good standing of the industry. HKES, as a founding member of HKECIA, plays an important and active role in the Hong Kong and China exhibition scene.
